Previously...

• I salvaged one of the drives from my dead computer.
• I discovered a problem in the receive logic.
• The ECM module needs to send raw TCP instead of just the HTTP bodies.

My primary computer's power supply bit the dust a few days back and I've been scrambling around trying to get something else to work ever since.  Yesterday I installed a new power supply and wonder of wonders it actually worked!  

The actual replacement process was pretty easy (if I can do it, anyone can).  Though I still have a mystery socket that really looks like it should be connected to something, my computer does work.  It was simply a matter of arm wrestling the thing into place, plugging in the connectors, and (nervously) turning the thing on.

While this does not have anything to do with megaphone, it does make me feel a lot better.  At any rate, the next posting will be about megaphone.  Honest.
